Tropical Bioeconomy Forum in Réunion

The EXEBIO Institute attended the Tropical Bioeconomy Forum on the island of Réunion

The EXEBIO Institute was delighted to participate in the first edition of the Tropical Bioeconomy Forum, held from December 9 to 11, 2025, in Réunion, marking 20 years of commitment to the future of the Qualitropic Competitiveness Cluster!

The forum had multiple objectives:

  • Highlight innovations and successes in bioeconomy from the French Overseas Territories through inspiring conferences, interactive workshops, and presentations of innovative projects
  • Foster meetings and partnerships between local and international stakeholders: businesses, researchers, institutions, investors, and public and private partners
  • Identify growth levers to boost the development of bioeconomy in overseas territories while overcoming their specific challenges
  • Contribute to the development of a roadmap for a sustainable and inclusive bioeconomy by promoting a collaborative approach among sector stakeholders
