Feedback on the EXEBIO Institute’s delegation to Finland

The EXEBIO Institute’s team was delighted to put on their boots as part of a university delegation to Finland !

From February 24 to 28, 2025, the executive team and the leaders of the key pillars’ commissions of the EXEBIO Institute, in collaboration with the Department of External Relations et International Development of URCA, were delighted to put on their boots as part of a university delegation to Finland !

A great occasion to experience many highlights with our local partners and colleagues, in Helsinki and in Joensuu.

Firstly, we had the opportunity to take part in the international week organized by Karelia University of Applied Sciences (a member of the Invest University European Alliance, of which URCA is also a member), in the city of Joensuun kaupunki. These meetings allowed to “break the ice” and to exchange views on the student’s well-being but also to share best practices on welcoming international students.

In Helsinki, we had the pleasure to be welcomed in the French Embassy residence and to continue our fruitful exchanges with the Natural Resources Institute Finland – Luonnonvarakeskus (Luke). A great occasion to consolidate our collaborations to promote excellence in research, education, and innovation in our signature fields: bioeconomy and environment.

We would like to thank Her Excellency the French Ambassador to the Republic of Finland, Ms. Raja Rabia and her team, as well as our colleagues from Karelia University of Applied Science and from Natural Resources Institute Finland – Luonnonvarakeskus (Luke) for their warm welcome! KIITOS!

We look forward to continuing these collaborations and sharing the fruit with our community!
