Brief on the Europe working group workshop #1
The EXEBIO Institute and the DIP organized the first workshop of the Europe working group, dedicated to helping researchers set up European projects on the themes of bioeconomy and the environment.
The EXEBIO Institute and the Project Engineering Department (DIP) organized the first workshop of the Europe working group, dedicated to helping researchers set up European projects on the themes of bioeconomy and the environment. The event was attended by 10 participants interested in Horizon Europe calls (ERC, MSCA, Cluster 6, CBE-JU).
The afternoon opened with speeches by Lilian Joly, Vice-President of Research at Université de Reims de Champagne-Ardennes (URCA), and Emmanuel Guillon, President of EXEBIO. After a presentation of the working group's objectives - to support researchers as closely as possible to their needs - participants analyzed three strategic calls for proposals and shared their experiences and challenges.
This working group is based on close collaboration between EXEBIO and the DIP, and is coordinated by Amélie Bizalion (Innovation and Europe Business Developer, EXEBIO), Frédéric Le Belhomme (Strategy, Lobbying and Evaluation Officer, DIP), Laure Hoenen (Research and Europe Business Developer, EXEBIO), and Stéphan Dorey (Head of the EXEBIO Research Excellence axis).
Next event: a national day on the Cluster 6 and CBE-JU calls, organized with the PCN Bio-Environnement, URCA, Bpifrance, French Ministry of higher education and research (MESR) and B4C, bringing together researchers and industries to decipher the 2025 calls and structure groups with common interests.
